ohhh man the concert last night at rolling hills in tualatin was OFF THE HOOK!! That was the first time I've ever seen them live. This concert was put together in like three weeks and it was absolutely amazing!! Can't even imagine what they're like on tour!
PS I'm new
PPS. I was inspired last night to make kutless icons. Can I post them here? Some communities don't allow posting icons, that's the only reason I ask.

Hi all, I am new here but like the rest of you I am in love with kutless. any ways I wanted to let you know what happened to me this easter week end.
so kutless played at my church. It was really cool. They were really good. And one of the best things was that they gave out copies of their new worship cd. So I was able to get it signed by the entire group. The reason they came to my church is that my church is their church. I think it's cool, they were so real, and down to earth.
this community is nice I am glad I found it. : ) Current Mood: happy

Ex-Korn Guitarist Baptized in Jordan River
KIBBUTZ KINNERET, Israel (AP) - Former Korn guitarist Brian ``Head'' Welch was baptized Saturday in the Jordan River, just weeks after quitting his band, drug habits and rock-and-roll lifestyle for religion.
Welch, a founding member of the multi-platinum band, and about 20 other white-robed Christian pilgrims from a Bakersfield, Calif., church were immersed by their pastor, Ron Vietti.
Welch said the ritual baptism had washed away his anger. ``You know when you get angry and it builds up? I felt like hurting someone before, now I feel like hugging people,'' he said.
Vietti said Welch - who has ``Jesus'' tattooed across his knuckles and ``Matthew 11:28,'' tattooed prominently across his neck - is already attracting a new group of young people to the message of Christianity.
``In recent weeks people have committed their lives to God because they're so inspired by his story,'' Vietti said.
Korn announced Welch's resignation last month after 13 years with the band. Welch said he had become increasingly depressed and drug-addicted in recent years, but that religion helped him quit.
He said he plans to release more music without the band.
``My songs are God saying things to me, him talking to people. He's going to use me to heal people and people are going to be drawn to it, just watch, they will be,'' he said.
Thousands of pilgrims are baptized annually in the Jordan River where, according to Biblical tradition, John the Baptist baptized Jesus. Current Mood: excited

Ok, I know that this probably won't make much sense to you all but I think this is hillarious. My name is Sarah. I grew up with and went to school with James, Kyle, Ryan and Kyle :) I guess I just still find it incredibly weird that they are "famous". I was just randomly searching lj and thought I would see if there were any fan sites. I cannot believe there are. I mean, I love their cd. They are definately talented. I remember when Kyle Mitchell and James were in jazz choir in middle school. I think it is so awesome. Do any of you know the band Falling Up? They all went to the same high school as us. They are awesome too. Yeah. This must be what family of celebs feel like. It is so totally bizzare. Ok, I am done :) Current Mood: confused

new member...old fan
I just found this community and it's a good thing because I love
Kutless! Definately one of my all time favorite bands. Last summer I started listening to them and memorized every word to their first CD. Yesterday I saved up enough money to buy their second CD "Sea of Faces". And I think that up until this moment I've listened to the whole thing about 6 or 7 times already! It is such a wonderful CD and I am having trouble deciding which one I love more! So I just wanted to drop a line saying "hello" to everyone. :-)

New member and fan!
Well, I recently became addicted to the whole "christian rock" idea... before my first concert which was the Five Iron Frenzy "Winners Never Quit" tour a few months ago, i had no idea the meaning behind christian rock, but i've become addicted in only a few months..
i just went to the "sea of faces" tour in Elgin, Illinois. It was GREAT! I had back-stage passes, and i got the album cover of my new "sea of faces" CD signed by 3 of the Kutless band members with my friend! the CD is AMAZING! :D alright time for school... nice to meet ya all! Current Mood: ecstatic

Sea of Faces Tour, Portland, Oregon, 3/26/04: Kutless, Thousand Foot Krutch, Falling Up, FM StaticPICTURES
|Saturday, March 27th, 2004|
Last night my youth group went to see Kutless in Portland, OR. It was awesome. Totally awesome.
Before the concert they announced that members of the bands wanted to meet with any youth leaders/pastors/consenting adults. I'm a youth leader at my church, so I got to meet a couple people. After they talked with us, they asked if we had any questions, and I (being the dork I am) asked the new bass player if he played a 5-string bass. He plays a 4-string. That was good news for me (I have a four-string bass, and every big group I've seen always uses a bloody 5-string).
Anyway, check out Kutless on their Sea of Faces tour. Thousand Foot Krutch, FM Static, and Falling Up are touring with them, and they all rock.
